As the Office/Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our daily operations run smoothly, efficiently, and at the highest standards. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Subcontractors & Agencies: Ensure services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Be the Go-To Person: Act as a main point of contact for staff during shifts, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee Pricing & Invoicing: Ensure all jobs are properly priced, completed, and invoiced on time.
  • Customer Care: Take care of phone calls and handle customer requests professionally.
  • Administrative Excellence: Keep our office running smoothly with strong organisational skills.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest level of service.
  • Streamline Processes: Implement organisational systems that make work easier for everyone.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities meet UK security standards and regulations.

To Excel in This Role, You’ll Need:

  • Organisational Excellence: You’ll need to keep track of schedules, resources, and all the day-to-day tasks that keep the office running smoothly.
  • Outstanding Communication: You’ll be the bridge between directors, clients, suppliers, and the team. Clear and professional communication is a must!
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The plumbing and heating industry can be unpredictable, and your ability to solve problems will keep operations on track.
  • Tech-Savvy: You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and be quick to learn new tools and systems.

Your Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar office or operations role.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with ease
