Solar Electrician

Trade Recruit is recruiting for one of our clients, who is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Solar Electrician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the renewable energy sector and help make a real difference in the UK’s transition to clean energy.

As a Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar PV systems. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission solar PV systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in solar installations
• Perform system maintenance and inspections
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards
• Work independently and as part of a team on-site

Requirements:
Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications
Proven experience in solar PV installations
Strong knowledge of electrical and safety codes
Full, valid driver’s license (travel required)
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
